The Origins of River Ridge Coins
Growing up in and around New Orleans brought me many things. A passion for Mardi Gras, Sports (even when our Saints weren't great - pre-Brees), and a love for history and what it means to our region of the country. When I was around 8, my father gave me the gift of coin collecting . Every Saturday we would go through the change he had from that week, get rolls of coins from the bank, and search through them for the rarer coins and dates and add them to the small collection he already had. I have now continued the tradition for the last 40+ years. My interests have expanded over the years and so has my passion for collecting.
